The Request from our Mission Partners
Edinburgh hosts the largest annual arts festival in the world. Thousands of shows attract hundreds of thousands every year to the city. Largely it is an environment bereft of Christian input, though local churches do also try to reach festival-goers as well. We are delighted to partner with Carrubbers Christian Centre - built by the great D L Moody, at the heart of Edinburgh's Royal Mile festival district to host outreaches throughout August. The site is perfectly suited to passing foot-traffic, and each year brings in hundreds of festival-goers to hear the Gospel in a relaxed cafe-style environment. It's a golden opportunity for people who love God to reach people who love music, and share the Gospel in a medium appropriate to the festival environment.
