Metro Big Band with Camp Kirkland
May 23 - June 1, 2019
The Request from our Hosts
A quarter of a century following the fall of communism, the dust has settled. People are hungry for truth and at the same time have a deep appreciation for the arts. One of the most effective ways to reach people with the gospel of Christ is through quality music that has the touch of the Master's hand. Believers are also uplifted and encouraged as the music brings a reprieve from their daily routine.
The focus for outreach ministry will be to strengthen existing congregations, enable church plants, preform for the students at their schools and minister to some of the neglected in social institutions. In the months preceding the Metro Big Band concerts, local believers will be praying for specific friends and acquaintances. Then these people will be invited to the event. In many cases these people would never go to a church service but would be open to go to a concert.
The tour will mainly be in the Budapest area which is one of Europe's most beautiful cities. Not only will there be an opportunity to see beautiful sights but also to interact with some wonderful people.
The cost for this Music Mission Project is $3,475 and includes air and ground transportation, accommodations, breakfast, insurance, Project Development, entrance fees and a GMP Travel Leader. The cost can be divided into multiple payments.
Global Missions Project is a non-profit, interdenominational Christian Ministry dedicated to developing ministry opportunities for every church musician. All expenses are tax-deductible.
